Registration is on now for the second session of the Capri Theater’s Glee vocal music program. Session 2 runs from April 2 through May 13 and culminates with the Capri Glee choirs’ public performance at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14 at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway, Minneapolis 55411.
Capri Glee offers four distinct musical experiences for elementary students, high school students and adults. All programs are free, open to the public, and will be held at the Capri Theater,
2027 West Broadway in North Minneapolis. Registration forms are available online at www.thecapritheater.org

The four Capri Glee programs include:
Elementary After-School Choir
Grades K – 5 / Session 2: April 6 – May 13. Public performance on Thursday, May 14.
Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:15 – 3:15, Capri Theater
Under the direction of Capri Artistic Associates Greta Oglesby and Dennis Spears, children will sing joyful, fun,
age-appropriate music, learn new music skills and experience a great sense of community.
High School After-School Music Club
Grades 9 – 12 / Session 2: April 6 – May 13. Public performance on Thursday, May 14.
Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30 – 5:00, Capri Theater
Dennis Spears and Greta Oglesby are at the helm of this special singing experience for high school-age students
as well. In addition to choral music, the program may also incorporate spoken word, guitar and piano, and other instrumental talents the students bring to the club.
Adult Community Choir
Ages 18 and up / Session 2: April 7 – May 12. Public performance on Thursday, May 14.
Tuesdays, 7:00 – 8:30 pm, Capri Theater
J.D. Steele directs this adult choir that’s open to anyone (age 18 or older) who loves to sing. Steele will be teaching
a variety of musical styles including jazz, soul, gospel-style, East African and Brazilian. All levels of experience are welcome and note reading is not required as singers will learn by rote.
Summer Community Music & Theater Production
Grades 9 – 12 and Ages 18 + / Summer session: June 16 – July 23.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 1 – 4 p.m.
