Summer is on everyone’s mind right now and it’s on ours too as we put the final touches on our 8th annual summer concert series, Live on the Drive. Musicians from the fabulous St. Paul Chamber Orchestra perform baroque and classical masterpieces for you, for free, at the Capri.

As the weather gets colder, we wanted to highlight one of the great events we put on each summer, Live On The Drive, a free summer concert series for the north Minneapolis community and neighbors each summer for the past seven  years. Play On Penn – Film screening and filmed conversation on Education

bullymostLocal filmmaker D.A. Bullock will convene a Play on Penn screening at the Cleveland Neighborhood Association on October 10th, 6-8pm. This screening is themed around EDUCATION, the clips have been curated to spark a discussion about our community and the education of our children. There will be 45 minutes of screening and a following discussion group. The event will be filmed as a part of the Play on Penn Community conversations series.

Traci Johnson is a Certified Financial Planner™ who has lived in the Cleveland neighborhood for 14 years. She’s worked in Financial Services for nearly 20 years and is eager to help the residents of our community achieve financial wellness and balance. She will hold office hours at the Cleveland Neighborhood Organization office on Sept 20th between 10:00 am and 2:00pm. Stop by to talk with Traci about your questions on debt and money management, budgeting and savings. Please note that no financial products will be sold or specific investment recommendations made.
