s a quick reminder to neighbors as we head into September, we still have Landscape Grants available for residents to receive a reimbursable grant of up to $100 for purchasing plants and other materials to create a rain garden or boulevard garden on their property. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the community by beautifying the community and helping us make it more “green”. Join the Cleveland Neighborhood Association and Free Poet’s Press for a local workshop on collage making, Saturday August 24th at 1pm. As part of our Critical Literacy Project we’re hosting community space to explore literacy and the arts. Keegan Xavi, a multidisciplinary artist from Minneapolis, will be teaching the art of collage.
