Let’s Build a Playground


On Wednesday, June 4th, we are going to build a playground for the students at Lucy Craft Laney School and you can join us! We need 80 volunteers to help us for this incredible one day opportunity, you can sign-up here to volunteer.

We need 80 Volunteers to make this playground happen and we know we can do it with your help! Volunteer tasks include building wood projects, assembling playground pieces, painting, moving mulch, and mixing concrete.  Volunteers for building must be 18+. Breakfast, lunch, and water will be provided during the volunteer day.  Please wear closed toe shoes, comfortable pants or shorts, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. There will be no storage area, so please leave valuables, purses, or bags at home.
